How we built brand awareness and a steady B2B lead pipeline for a wholesale footwear distributor, on a lean budget.

The Client

A Greek wholesale footwear distributor supplying independent shoe retailers and multi-brand stores across Greece. A solid product range and competitive pricing, but virtually no digital presence and no structured way to reach new stockists.

The Challenge

B2B wholesale is a relationship-driven business. Most distributors rely on trade shows, cold calls and word of mouth to find new retail partners. Digital advertising is rarely used in this space, which is exactly why it works so well when done right.

The brief was straightforward: build brand awareness among footwear retailers across Greece and generate a consistent flow of B2B inquiries, all on a tight monthly budget.

What We Did

Rather than running a single lead generation campaign and calling it done, we built a three-layer funnel designed to work together.

Each layer serves a different purpose but feeds the next. Awareness builds the audience, engagement keeps them warm, leads convert the ones who are ready. This is exactly how we approach Paid Ads.

Where We Are Now

The brand awareness foundation is in place. As the audience grows and retargeting pools deepen, cost per lead will continue to drop while lead volume increases. The groundwork is done and the results are already showing.

Yes, and it is underused in this space. Most wholesalers are not advertising digitally, which means less competition for attention and lower costs. The key is targeting by business type and interest rather than consumer demographics.

Because cold lead generation in B2B rarely works on its own. A retailer who has seen your brand multiple times before they see your lead form converts at a much higher rate than someone who has never heard of you. The full funnel approach costs more upfront but delivers better quality leads over time.

Independent shoe retailers and multi-brand stores looking to expand their supplier portfolio. The Instant Form was structured to capture business details, not consumer inquiries.

This account runs on a lean budget across three active campaigns simultaneously. Efficiency comes from smart audience targeting and clear campaign objectives, not from spending more.
