The Hellenic Institute of Egyptology is a Greek academic and cultural institution dedicated to the study and dissemination of ancient Egyptian civilisation. They run online educational seminars, lectures and programs for students, academics and enthusiasts across Greece.
A serious institution with a serious audience. Their digital presence was anything but.
When they came to us, the Institute was running on an outdated Joomla website that hadn’t kept up with the times. Slow, hard to navigate, difficult to update and completely unoptimised for conversions. It didn’t reflect the quality of the institution and it certainly wasn’t helping anyone register for a seminar.
Beyond the technical debt, there was a broader problem: no structured way to reach new audiences, no paid advertising presence and no reliable pipeline for seminar registrations. Everything depended on word of mouth and organic reach alone.
Two things needed to happen. First, build a digital home worthy of the institution. Then, build the growth engine on top of it.

We rebuilt hie.edu.gr from scratch on WordPress, replacing the Joomla installation entirely.
The priorities were clear:
The result was a fast, structured, professional platform built to grow with the organisation. See how we approach Web Development.
With a solid foundation in place, we activated seasonal Meta campaigns timed around each seminar cycle.
Each campaign is built specifically around the upcoming seminar, targeting users by interest, educational background and behaviour across Greece. Creative and messaging are refreshed each cycle based on what performed in the previous one.
All registrations are captured via Instant Forms, keeping friction as low as possible between interest and conversion. See how we approach Paid Ads.

The website is the stable foundation. Every new seminar cycle we refine targeting, test new creative and optimise based on accumulated data. Two years in, cost per lead keeps dropping and registration volume keeps growing.
Seminar campaigns are time-sensitive and audience-specific. The key is reaching the right people early enough to build interest, then converting before the registration deadline. Meta is particularly effective here because of how precisely you can define the target audience.
Not always, but in this case yes. The old Joomla site wasn't built to convert. Having a fast, well-structured platform that clearly communicates the value of each seminar made the paid campaigns significantly more effective from day one.
Once creative assets and seminar details are ready, we can have a campaign live within 48 hours. The first leads typically come in within the first few days of launch.
Yes. The approach is the same as any lead generation campaign, targeting the right audience with the right message at the right time. The niche doesn't change the fundamentals.
If you run educational programs, seminars or events and want a reliable way to drive registrations, let’s talk.
Let’s talk about where you are, where you want to be, and how we get you there. First session is free, no strings attached.
